Guide for the Ancient Archive Event

Duration: April 13th 2022 to May 18th 2022.

General

The Shop Event currency used in this event is Seal of Collectibles.

  • For context, one run in C-Turret: 30 Serum gives 60-67 Heat Mixture.
  • C-Turret can be Multi-Challenged up to 8 times maximum.
Farming Tips

Use your Serum to grind only the first stage in "C-Turret", do not spent Serum on the second stage because memories can be chosen in the shop.

Event Shop Tips

It is generally not recommended to redeem:

Antique Book
and
Copper Coin

in the "Limited" section as it can be farmed anytime through the Dorm and will not be worth the Serum spent otherwise.

Most 6 star Memories can be farmed so do take the chance to stock up.

Book of Toro Overview

Guide for the Book of Toro (APUS) Event

Duration: April 25th 2022 to May 9th 2022

General

  • Players will gain 16 Action Points (16 AP) every day at 07:00 (UTC).
  • You will only be able to hold a maximum of 80 AP at a time.

Tips

These tips are written with the assumption that you will be trying to finish this event as quickly as possible.
These tips are written with the assumption that you will be trying to finish this event as quickly as possible.

Pet Introduction

  • While fighting in Combat Stages, you will be fighting alongside a "Pet", which is basically a NPC that deals damage periodically that can be upgraded by buying buffs in the "Tactical Supply" shops.
  • Pets generally don't deal much damage compared to you and is probably a mechanic to help out newer players clear Combat Stages, Pets can generally be ignored if you have enough combat strength.
  • Pets are upgraded via the use of "Halloween Candies" which is a different form of currency then Support Points.

Use of the shop (Support Terminal)

You should only be spending Support Points (SP) on "Support Airdrop"
  • Everything else in the shop can be considered a waste of AP.
  • Support Points spent on Support Constructs serve no purpose other then as a waste of SP and a way to help newer players as they can be better spent gaining buffs in the "Tactical Supply" shop.
  • Support Terminal cannot be used in Trial Mode

Respite

  • Respite stages gives 3 options:

1. Recover Team HP to 100%. (Costs 50 Support Points)
2. Upgrade existing bonus effects
3. Exit (Gives 50 Support Points and 50 Halloween Candies)

  • Do note that each choice WILL NOT lock you out of the respite stage, and the stage only ends after choosing the 3rd option.

Pathway and Strategic Advice

Always choose the hard challenge for each stage and the best option for each random event (guide below) for more Support Points, and the optimal pathway for each map (images below).
  • It is recommended to follow the optimal pathway (Yellow Route) as it is the shortest path to completing the Map/Chapter and will use the least amount of Serum. (Only Applicable to Normal Mode)
  • Use themed Constructs for extra +25% Support Points/ +20% Discount / +24% Extra DMG. (Not applicable in Trial Mode)

Health Management and Reviving

Remember that if you die, you have the option to revive your Constructs with Cogs! (5000 Cogs per revive). You can revive an unlimited amount of times. (Only for Normal Mode)
  • If you do not feel confident in your ability to survive the Combat Stages, use a healer.
  • Reviving your team to regain health is a viable strategy if you don't have a healer on your team. (Only for Normal Mode)
  • If you are feeling adventurous, you can deliberately choose options in the Random Events that cause your Constructs to lose health in exchange for more Support Points/Halloween Candies. The options below highlighted green is the safest choice, but you are free to do what you will with this information.
  • You cannot revive your team with Cogs in Trial Mode.

Use of Support Constructs

The use of Support Constructs is not advised unless you have trouble clearing the battle stages with your own Constructs.
  • 3 Support Constructs are needed to clear 1 stage.
  • Maximum of 8 Support Constructs can be held at one time.
  • Using Support Constructs WILL deplete your Action Points (AP) after clearing a Combat Stage.

Support Construct Management

The use of Support Constructs is STRONGLY NOT RECOMMENDED as Support Points in this version of APUS should be spent towards gaining buffs.
  • However, if your team is too weak to tackle the Combat Stages, (and if you are unwilling to spend 5k Cogs to revive your team multiple times), managing the use of Support Units will be vital in helping you clear this event.
  • The Tactical Supply (shop in the map), sells Support Constructs at 36 Support Points instead of 45 Support Points in Terminal Support (Main shop), so you might want to save up at least some Support Points before you go into that shop. (Only applicable if you choose enough themed Constructs to get a 20% discount in the Tactical Supply Shop). This does not apply to Trial Mode.
  • Balancing how many Support Constructs (SC) you have is important, while you can spend all your Support Points immediately on obtaining as much SC as you can, having a little patience, such as waiting for the Tactical Supply stage to get SC cheaper or getting SC from random events will prevent you from hoarding so many Support Constructs that it goes over the 8 SC limit, and so that you always have enough space to take in more SC as you go along.
  • If you intend to hoard Support Points following the previous tip, remember that you can sometimes backtrack from a random event by exiting the interface and choose again if you find that you've gone down the wrong path (such as losing AP or SC).
  • In the event that losing Support Points is inevitable, backtracking from the interface (Clicking outside the dialog box) and spending all your Support Points in the Terminal Support Shop on more SC so that you lose the least amount of Support Points possible is a viable strategy. (This isn't applicable in Trial Mode)

Introduction to Trial Mode

There is no Action Point limit in Trial Mode, and it does not require the use of Action Points or Serum.
  • After clearing the main 5 APUS Maps/Chapters, Trial Mode will be unlocked, which will be 5 new different APUS Maps.
  • Trial Mode does not have Themed Characters and will not allow the use of Support Characters.
  • Trial Mode does not have a Terminal Supply Shop.

Trial Mode Scoring

Players will be ranked against each other for the completion of Trial Mode, points will be allocated following a scoring scale of:

1. Clear 1 Stage: +5 Points
2. 1 Normal/Hard encounter for each level cleared: +10 / +15 Points
3. 1 Normal/Hard elite battle for each level cleared: +20 / +30 Points
4. Boss Battle cleared: +40 points
5. Accumulated 1000/2000/3000 support points: +75 / +175 / +300 Points
6. Each time you pass a level, you get +5 points for every character in the team whose remaining HP exceeds 50%
7. Clearing a stage with at least 1 member whose BP is lower than 5000 or your clear time is fewer than 1 minute: +5 Points
8. Every purchase of 1 new BUFF: +10 Points

To obtain the highest score possible, players are recommended to follow the optimal pathway and keep several things in mind when clearing a Combat Stage:

1) Keep all Construct health above 50% before the stage ends.
2) Either have 1 member of your team be below 5k BP or make sure that you clear the level before 1 minute.
3) Buy as many buffs as possible in the "Tactical Supply" shop.

Trial Mode Progress Resetting

You can reset a single floor or all floors once per day.
  • When resetting a single floor, you lose all stage progress, buffs and currencies to when you first arrived on the stage. The team deployed will also reset.
  • You can reconfigure your team each time you reach a new map.

Trial Mode Point Min Maxing

If you plan on getting as much points as possible, you should be getting:

1. 35 Trial Points for each Skirmish Hard Mode.
2. 50 Trial Points for each Elite Hard Mode.
3. 60 Trial Points for each Boss Fight.

  • Clearing Random Events does not give any Trial Points.
  • You do not gain Trial Points for upgrading buffs in Respite, it is best to save your Candies or Support Points for the Tactical Supply Shop as those will award Trial Points for every buff bought.
  • You can abandon any Combat Stage if you mess up and restart it with no penalty.
  • You can change the loadout of any Construct on your team to lower their BP to less than 5000 so you can get the bonus 5 Trial Points if you are unable to clear a stage under 1 minute. (Reference to Trial Mode Scoring No.7)
  • Using a healer will be mandatory if you plan on losing HP to the Random Choices for any benefits. Remember that ALL your constructs should finish every Combat Stage with more than 50% HP to gain 15 more Trial Points (5 for every Construct).

Mycenaean Protocol

Guide for the Mycenaean Protocol: Wargame Event

Duration: April 18th 2022 to May 16th 2022.

General

Each round of Wargame will last 14 days.
  • Stages will reset after 2 weeks and you will have to upgrade a new team again.
  • You can claim 120 Promotion Certificates as a daily mission reward.
Stages
  • There are 45 Combat Stages.
  • You have 8 challenge attempts every day, challenge attempts reset at 07:00 UTC daily.
  • You will be given 4 Constructs to build with Promotion Points.
  • You will be able to reset all Construct promotion and modifications at no cost.

Stage Effects

  • Depending on Stage Effects and Floor Affixes which will change every 6 stages, with the hard stages signifying a harder challenge, the Constructs you use in battle can be changed to gain an advantage.

Building your members

  • You will be able to promote all members from 1 Star up to a maximum of 6 Stars
  • "Promoting" a member gives it "Modification Pts", which allows players to add talents onto the respective member which range from skill buffs to extra effects and base stat buffs.
  • Remember that you can preview the cost of any talent/modification slot by selecting it even if you haven't reached that stage or have enough Modification Points or even if your member already has it unlocked!
  • This means that you can calculate the cost of any build you have in mind no matter the state of the Construct.

Resetting Upgrades

  • It is possible to reset Constructs that are higher than 1 Star to regain all the Promotion Points spent on them and set the construct back to 1 Star at no cost.
  • This means that players will be able to dynamically reset and reinvest Promotion Points to better tackle stage challenges if needed.
  • Remember that any Construct you've built can be reset whenever you want at no cost, nothing that you invest is locked in if you choose so.

Tips

  • Constructs dying in combat will not remove them from your team or reduce its health when used in the next stage, so there is no penalty to failing a stage.
  • You can retry any stage that you have already cleared at no cost.
  • There is no revive mechanic.
