Included below is information to help players decide which Constructs to prioritize based on level of investment.
Harmony Priority Recommendations
Harmony requires investment that is not accessible to a significant portion of players (i.e. pulling for Signature Weapons), and acquisition of Harmony Accelerator is time-gated. Therefore, the following Harmony priority recommendations only list characters who are part of competitive team compositions – the “meta” – from Everglowing Justice and onwards.
Note: Overall Harmony Priority should be considered BEFORETeam Harmony Priority. Overall Harmony Priority refers to how important the Harmony is relative to all meta Constructs, while Team Harmony Priority only indicates which units should receive Harmony first within their respective team.
In Phantom Pain Cage, Weapon Harmony allows Rigor to equip 2-set of Voltaire while still retaining the Set Effects for 6 other Memory pieces. Rigor’s only recommended Harmony Build is 4-set Da Vinci, 2-set Voltaire and 2-set Catherine. While the additional support capability is useful, it is much less impactful than other higher-priority Harmony candidates.
In War Zone, Rigor can benefit from generic Physical DMG sets like 2-set Signa, on top of her usual set of 4-set Leeuwenhoek and 2-set Catherine with Harmony. At SSS+ Rank, she may alternatively equip 2-set Darwin, as she can capitalize on Darwin's 2-Piece Set Effect by using 3-Pings to charge her Core Passive, rather than her Signature Move. However, these sets do not hold enough value to justify Harmony until all other higher priority Constructs acquire Harmony.
(SS0): Before the Memory Set rework in Polaris Bond, Stigmata at SS0-Rank and below only benefits from minor generic Set Effects such as Signa or Leeuwenhoek. As such, Stigmata is a lower priority Harmony target.
(SS3 - SSS+): At SS3-Rank and above, Stigmata benefits greatly from the 4-set effect of Cottie as its Extra DMG Bonus increase will be constantly reapplied due to Stigmata using multiple Signature Moves in quick succession per rotation. When paired with the extra Energy generation from her SS3-Rank passive, 2-set Cottie allows Stigmata to utilize “2.5” rotations: casting 2 Core Passives, 3 Blade Abyss - Bright Candle’s, 3 strings of Sword Dance, and 3 Blade Abyss - Illuminated Abyss’s in total.
With the Memory set effect changes in Polaris Bond, the 4-set effect of Patton becomes drastically stronger, allowing Stigmata to apply Physical Resistance reduction while boosting her own damage. Stigmata will want to equip 4-set Patton for general usage at any Rank.
(SS0): SS0-Rank and below should equip 4-set Charlotte and 4-set Patton as Cottie does not significantly impact her rotations.
(SS3 - SSS+): At SS3-Rank and above, Stigmata can instead equip 4-set Cottie and 4-set Patton until Hanying: Solacetune’s release if the player intends to utilize 2.5 rotations and does not mind Signal Orbs no longer being sorted upon use of her Core Passive.
With the release of Hanying: Solacetune in Soaring Beyond, Stigmata is no longer the Main DPS of the Physical Team. Stigmata can equip one of two sets in general content:
4-set Charlotte, a 2-set of any generic Physical DMG set such as Signa / Patton / Leeuwenhoek, and 2-set Catherine. This set has a higher potential for maximum damage, but has a higher skill ceiling as players will manage timing Stigmata’s QTE skill to effectively use the Physical DEF reduction granted by Catherine. If Stigmata is SSS0-Rank or higher, players can opt for 2-set Darwin in place of the generic Physical DMG set.
4-set Charlotte and 4-set Patton provides high performance for players not proficient in micromanaging resources at the cost of a lower damage ceiling than the former set.
Harmony raises in importance for Stigmata once more due to her Leap buff providing her with a vital role in Trueslash content. Her optimal set in Trueslash content changes to 4-set Patton, 2-set Darwin, and 2-set Catherine, making Harmony necessary to maximize her performance for multiple damage types.
It is necessary to equip Echo with 4-set Signa Memories due to the 20% CRIT DMG and 75% CRIT Rate bonuses it provides to the team when healed by Echo. Harmony allows her to utilize the 4-set effect of Da Vinci in War Zone without losing valuable CRIT buffs. This allows for resets of Rigor’s QTE skill, which is important for characters with strong Burst damage such as Stigmata and Solacetune.
For skilled players, more casts of Rigor’s QTE skill is particularly useful in War Zone to reapply her Physical DEF reduction onto newly spawning waves as explained here, and also allows Rigor to utilize the Energy gain from her QTE more often.
Additionally, Harmony also allows Echo to equip a set of 4-set Signa and 4-set Philip II as for optimizing Phantom Pain Cage clears.
As the Main DPS of the Physical Team on release, Solacetune is a high priority target to receive Harmony in order to equip 4-set Patton for additional Physical Resistance reduction while retaining the 4-set of her signature Memory set, Changwuzi. In War Zone, Hanying: Solacetune’s Core Passive field allows for persistent application of the additional Physical Resistance reduction provided by Patton alongside her innate Physical DEF and Physical Resistance reductions.
¹After the release of Shaper's Ripples, Epitaph and Pyroath can be interchangeable depending on which of the two is holding 4-set Shakespeare. This is only applicable at SS0-Rank.
Empyrea's Harmony priority is low until the release of Watanabe: Epitaph as the only tangible benefit is the ability to hold extra support Memory sets. However, this is not worth the cost relative to other, higher priority Harmony targets.
In general content, Empyrea will run a full support build for Epitaph. Empyrea will mainly utilize two different build options in War Zone:
4-set Da Vinci, 2-set Guinevere, and 2-set Einsteina. This set is more effective when dealing with waves with higher HP pools as Einsteina provides a higher DPS increase than the alternative. Einsteina’s cooldown causes its Set Effect to have less uptime for waves that are cleared quickly compared to a buff provided by Guinevere.
4-set Da Vinci and 4-set Guinevere. Guinevere’s Set Effect provides a lower DPS increase overall, but will not disappear between waves as it is applied to the player, and may be stronger when dealing with waves that are cleared quickly.
As Starfarer provides the lowest DPS output of all meta Fire Constructs and will be replaced during Aeon Reforged, she is not worth the cost of utilizing Harmony.
Following the release of Watanabe: Epitaph, Starfarer is only worth Harmony resources to support him in Phantom Pain Cage. However, with the necessary investment, Nanami: Pulse and Karenina: Scire can be more effective in this role. Pulse’s Signature Weapon can provide an additional source of Fire Resistance reduction that can stack with Epitaph’s, though this application is reliant on RNG, and as such is inconsistent. Scireat SSS-Rank or higher provides an additional 5% Extra DMG Reduction, providing a powerful, consistent debuff that stacks with other sources.
(SS0-Rank): At SS0-Rank, Hyperreal can equip 2-set Einsteina alongside 4-set Turing and 2-set Cottie which allows Empyrea to use 4-set Guinevere if necessary without much drawback. Despite this, Hyperreal remains the lowest priority Harmony target in the Fire Team relative to Liv: Empyrea and Watanabe: Epitaph.
(SS3-Rank): Obtaining SS3-Rank significantly improves Harmony’s benefits on Hyperreal as 2-set Cottie is no longer required for smooth rotations. Hyperreal can instead hold 4-set Turing and 4-set Shakespeare, providing a 10% increase to Extra DMG Bonus and allowing Hyperreal to apply 15% Fire Resistance reduction with Shakespeare’s 4-set Effect. This effect can be maintained from off-field through his SS0-Rank passive’s Covering Fire.
Beginning from his debut in Aeon Reforged, Watanabe: Epitaph serves as the Main DPS of the Fire Team until the release of Lucia: Pyroath during Shaper’s Ripples. Epitaph uses 4-set Alphons and 4-set Cottie in War Zone, and alternatively 4-set Shakespeare in Phantom Pain Cage.
Shakespeare is once again used in Epitaph’s main sets for Void and Fire War Zone following the debuts of Luna: Oblivion and Lucia: Pyroath respectively. Shakespeare can also be paired with supportive memories like 4-set Da Vinci for certain Phantom Pain Cage builds in content centered on these two Energy Types.
On her debut, Lucia: Pyroath is set as the Main DPS of both the Fire and Electroconvergence Teams. Weapon Harmony allows Pyroath to equip multiple vital sets, such as:
Weapon Harmony for Plume is not worth the cost as the bonuses to her damage provided by Harmony are minor. She is replaced in the Ice Team by Qu: Shukra, who will release during Polaris Bond.
Harmony on Glory should only be considered if extra Harmony Accelerator are present after all other priority units have acquired Weapon Harmony, as the benefit gained is not worth being unable to utilize Harmony on more important Constructs first. Harmony sets for Glory will only provide noticeable benefit in Phantom Pain Cage from Polaris Bond onwards, as this allows him to utilize additional supportive Memory sets.
Players can acquire Harmony on Kaleido to equip both 2-set Cottie and 2-set Darwin alongside her Signature 4-set Aline. However, Kaleido is a low priority target relative to other Constructs as this improvement is minimal compared to the benefits provided to higher priority Constructs, and as she will only see value as a QTE Support after the release of Qu: Shukra.
Priority Harmony target for the Void War Zone cycle to support Luna: Oblivion, as Kaleido has the fastest application of Einsteina’s 2-Piece Set Effect with her QTE skill amongst all Amplifier options. From this point onwards, Kaleido's main set utilize 4-set Da Vinci, 2-set Guinevere, and 2-set Einsteina.
Following the release of Wanshi: Lucid Dreamer, Kaleido's Void War Zone set sees increased usage, becoming her main set for both Ice and Void War Zone.
Shukra utilizes her signature 4-set Ji Bo’an and 4-set Chen Jiyuan, constantly applying Chen Jiyuan's Ice Resistance reduction. This consistent application is vital as Shukra is the sole on-field DPS until the release of Wanshi: Lucid Dreamer.
Harmony on Lucid Dreamer allows for use of both his signature 4-set Liston and 4-set Chen Jiyuan, providing constant off-field application of 4-set Chen Jiyuan’s Ice Resistance reduction effect and utilization of the Extra DMG Bonus increase. As Lucid Dreamer does not rely on QoL Memories such as Cottie, sets focusing on damage output - for example, Chen Jiyuan - can be utilized without disrupting rotations. Harmony also sees use in supportive Memory sets like 4-set Da Vinci to support Qu: Shukra in Phantom Pain Cage.
On release, Harmony is not particularly valuable for Garnet and generally not worth the investment. While Harmony can improve Da Vinci setups when paired with additional Memories like Tifa to maximize damage output when Garnet is paired with Lucia: Crimson Weave in Phantom Pain Cage, the benefit is minimal.
Following the changes to Memory effects during Polaris Bond, Harmony becomes a high priority for Garnet, allowing her to hold 4-set Tifa and 4-set Heisen, ensuring constant application of Heisen’s 15% Lightning Resistance reduction in War Zone.
With the release of Luna: Oblivion, Harmony is also vital to maximize Garnet’s usage as a support in Void content by allowing use of her optimal supportive sets.
Harmony allows use of 4-set Diesel alongside 4-set Cottie, the latter providing a constant 15% Extra DMG Bonus increase and Super Armor which greatly benefits Crimson Weave as her optimal rotations activate her Signature Move multiple times per rotation.
In Phantom Pain Cage, Harmony is also necessary to utilize 4-set Frederick - and instead 4-set Heisen following Polaris Bond’s Memory Set Effect changes - with 4-set Diesel to maximize clear speed. These sets sacrifice the ability to quickly activate Crimson Weave’s Signature Move in favor of higher DPS within a single cycle. However, these sets are typically reserved for SSS0-Rank or higher as Karmic Inferno’s damage is unimpressive at lower Ranks, lowering the value of these sets.
With Harmony, Feral can effectively utilize 4-set Fran and 4-set Guinevere at all Ranks above SS0-Rank to greatly improve both her offensive and supportive usage. At SS3-Rank and above, players can alternatively opt for a combination of 2-set Cottie and 2-set Guinevere, provided they have Dead Line Timing and know how to activate 1.5 Signature Move cycles to increase Feral’s personal DPS in favor of teamwide support.
Harmony on Feral further increases in importance due to the Memory set changes in Polaris Bond changing Garnet’s optimal general set to use 4-set Heisen, which allows Feral to hold 4-set Fran and 2-set Einsteina along with 2-set Guinevere or Cottie, depending on her Rank investment as mentioned previously.
²Capriccio is given higher piority than Scire due to 4-set Bathlon's RNG-reliant activation condition. Scire is a higher priority Harmony target if players can equip 2-set Einsteina onto Capriccio without Harmony by using Dead Line Timing.
Laurel will be replaced in the following patch: Cradle Parade. As such, Laurel is not worth the cost of losing the chance to apply Harmony to a higher priority Construct.
Capriccio - and by extension, the Dark Team - does not benefit heavily from Harmony as the team’s lower relative strength does not justify the cost. Before the debut of Lamia: Lost Lullaby, Capriccio gains the most benefit from Harmony to allow use of 2-set Einsteina, whether or not the player has access to the Dead Line Timing Resonance.
With the release of Lamia: Lost Lullaby, Harmony increases in importance significantly as it allows Capriccio]] to hold 2-set Einsteina alongside 4-set Seraphine and either 2-set Cottie or 2-set Da Vinci, depending on the player's investment and skill. This also allows Karenina: Scire to equip 4-set Boone and 4-set Bathlon, greatly raising teamwide strength.
Cottie should be set if Capriccio is below SSS+ Rank and does not have the Dead Line Timing Resonance. This set offers comfortable and fast rotations at the cost of overall damage output and buffs.
Da Vinci should be set if Capriccio is either SSS+ Rank or has the Dead Line Timing Resonance. This set offers higher damage at the cost of a higher skill requirement if Capriccio is below SSS+ Rank.
Before the release of Lamia: Lost Lullaby, Scire can use Harmony to equip 4-set Boone with 2-set Einsteina and 2-set Condelina. However, this improvement is not particularly impactful and is not worth the cost until Cradle Parade. If players have access to SSS-Rank on Scire, Harmony can provide great benefit when utilizing her as a universal support in certain Phantom Pain Cage strategies, though this use case is niche and should not be immediately prioritized.
When all three members of the Dark Team have access to Harmony, Scire can switch her general Harmony set to 4-set Boone and 4-set Bathlon to provide additional Extra DMG Bonus increase and Dark Resistance reduction, though with the added downside of RNG reliance to trigger Bathlon’s 4-set effect. This set is drastically improved with the Polaris Bond Memory set changes, removing the RNG application condition and increasing the amount of Dark Resistance reduction applied.
Lost Lullaby benefits greatly from Harmony 4-set Cottie’s 15% increase to Extra DMG Bonus as her optimal cycles re-trigger her Signature Move multiple times in very quick succession. If players do not own Karenina: Scire at SS3-Rank, Cottie’s Super Armor buff will be vital to prevent being staggered in War Zone.
Optimal cycles will involve performing Oblivion’s full Signature Move cycle two-to-three times per rotation, maintaining a constant application of Cottie’s Super Armor and 15% increase to Extra DMG Bonus, greatly improving her on-field presence.
