Gameplay Information

Moveset

  • Tail Whip: Swings its body around, violently slashing at close range with its tail.
  • Cannon Shot: Fires a linear projectile. This attack will display a projectile path prior to firing.
  • Laser Beam: Fires a continuous stream of energy in a line, dealing multiple hits to player characters caught in its path. This attack will display a projectile line prior to firing.
  • Burning Shot: Fires an explosive ball. Upon impact, the ball will explode, leaving a burning field on the ground where it landed that will deal damage-over-time to player characters in its range. This attack will display a range marker prior to landing.

Notes and Advice

Similarly to the Aerial Monitor, its collision detection with relatively short-ranged melee attack types (such as the Basic Attacks of Watanabe - Nightblade or Nanami - Storm) meshes poorly with its recoil animation and will frequently prevent the player's attacks from fully connecting. Characters with long-ranged attacks, pull-type attacks, or approach-type actions are advised to combat this enemy.
