Gameplay Information

This enemy possesses three ranged attacks and one close-range leap attack.

  • Its first ranged attack will fire two simultaneous twin rounds. This attack will display a projectile path prior to firing.
  • Its second ranged attack will fire a volley of twin rounds in a semicircular pattern; this will not display a projectile path. Players in the volley path are advised to evade to the enemy's left, as the attack will always proceed in a counter-clockwise fashion.
  • Its third ranged attack will fire a stream of water. This attack will not display a projectile path, and its animation is dynamic; the enemy will rotate while firing to attempt to follow the player character (though its rotational speed is notably slow). The attack has multiple low-damaging hits, none of which will stun or knock down the player.

When the player is within melee range, this enemy will attempt to use its leap action to gain distance. Before leaping, it will display an aggression light. It will then leap in the last direction it was facing, knocking down player characters in range (note: this attack's damage infliction occurs on the initial leap, and not the landing).

Trivia

This enemy was originally known as "Depth Prowler" prior to its official name change upon implementation of the Eternal Engine patch.
