Era of Manufacture: A machine produced during the middle Golden Age ー modelled after the human form ー created as a result of religious organizations becoming involved in robotics.

Intelligence Level: Possesses multiple functions at low-level intelligence. It scrounges parts from sources around it in order to transform itself in a continuous pursuit of additional power.

Profile 1: Artificial symbols of faith built with what few materials were available at the time. Ironically, it has since become a tool of slaughter.

Profile 2: In order to survive, its weathered body has been forced to undergo highly uncoordinated transformations, causing it to take on progressively more terrifying appearances.

Story 1: Even after becoming a Corrupted at the hands of the Punishing, it still carries out its evangelical duties. However, its core belief system has been completely altered.

Story 2: After the development of science and technology and the subsequent decline in religious presence, the Church assigned religious evangelism and other activities to robots due to their inability to waver in faith and loyalty.

Gameplay Information

Moveset

  • Lightning Strike: Calls a single bolt of electricity at the player character's location. This attack will display a range marker on the ground prior to landing.
  • Lightning Array: Calls electric bolts in a forward-facing line. This attack will display an attack path prior to launching.
  • Lightning Burst: Calls a cluster of electricity around the Missionary. This attack will display a range marker on the ground prior to execution.
  • Lightning Orb: Launches a slow-moving ball of red electricity forward in the last direction the enemy was facing. This attack will not display any form of path or marker prior to launch. The orb will travel until it collides with an obstruction.

Notes and Advice

Its orb attack can be relatively easy to overlook. Players are advised to carefully observe this enemy's movements whenever it is on the field and at a distance from the player character.
