Pilgrim

Enemy Specs

Model: Type Pβ-I005
Production Type: Mass-production
Primary Use: Enforcement

Era of Manufacture: A machine produced during the early Golden Age, marginally more advanced than its alpha build.

Intelligence Level: This machine has the lowest-level intelligence of all Golden Age products. Possesses only a single function.

Profile 1: The gear on its arm is used to open its weapon barrel and expel spent ammunition.

Profile 2: It is relatively short. It uses wheels for locomotion. Before becoming a Corrupted, it was sometimes deployed as a stand-in for a police dog.

Story 1: Locals near the former Mexico City gave it some simple decorations from their culture.

Story 2: Its pistol was originally loaded with blank rounds to avoid accidental injury to humans. After becoming a Corrupted, it began inserting anything that could be used as a projectile into its barrel, substantially exacerbating its normal wear and tear.

Enemy Traits

Gameplay Information

Moveset

  • Quick Shot: Fires a single linear projectile. This attack will display a projectile path prior to firing.
  • Triple Shot: Same as Quick Shot, but fires three consecutive rounds.
  • Explosive Shot: Fires an explosive round at the player character's location (this will display a marker* shortly before landing). Upon impact, the round will explode, leaving a burning area that inflicts damage-over-time to players within its range.

*This attack does not always display a marker. It is unknown at this time if this is a bug.

Notes and Advice

Quick Shot and Triple Shot share the same precursor.

When it is not attacking, the Pilgrim will frequently move backwards in-line with the player character's location at a greater pace than other Primary:Ranged enemies. Players are advised to dispatch it quickly or employ pull-type moves (such as the QTE or Blue Orb skill of Karenina - Blast) to prevent it from gaining excessive distance.
