The Shop Event currency used in this event is Item-StarScar.pngStar Scar.

  • For context, one run in Cosmic Glow: 30 Serum gives 82~91 Item-StarScar.pngStar Scar.
  • Cosmic Glow can be Multi-Challenged up to 8 times maximum.
  • Reaching Authority Level 25 will enable an NPC to appear that immediately clears any stage and Multi-Challenge attempts after speaking to it.
Farming Tips

Use your Serum to grind only the first stage in "Cosmic Glow", do not spend Serum on the second stage because memories can be redeemed in the shop.

Winter Sequence

Guide for the Winter Sequence Event

Duration: May 11th 2023 to May 29th 2023.

General

Deploy Devices and summon Hunters to defeat all enemies and get all the rewards!
  • There are 8 sets of 3 stages which will be available over time.
  • Clearing all 8 sets of stages will unlock access to the Watcher's Tower.
  • "Remnant Record" is periodically produced and can also be gained from clearing stages, which can be used to upgrade Devices and Enhancements.
  • Only one Construct can be selected to clear a stage.
  • Each stage has a time limit of 6 minutes.
  • The timer will keep running during the preparation phase.
Each stage has a preparation phase and a battle phase:
  • Deploy Devices at tactical points during the preparation phase.
  • Devices cannot be deployed during the battle phase.
  • Devices cannot be changed or removed, only upgraded to a maximum level of 3.
  • End the preparation phase by selecting "Skip Deployment".
There are 3 kinds of Talents that can be chosen:
  • Battle Adjustment: Buffs Construct.
  • Shieldbearer: Buffs Hunter.
  • Trap Master: Adds 1 Tactical Resource (Number of Devices that can be deployed) for every Preparation Phase.
There are 5 different kinds of Devices that can be enhanced and used:
  • Only 2 Devices can be used for a stage.
  • Scorch Device: Deals 400% Fire damage to all enemies in range every second and buffs allies while in range.
  • Supply Device: Heals Construct and allies within range.
  • Dark Device: Deals 900% Dark damage to 1 enemy every 2-4 seconds, performance is improved when in range of allies and other Dark Devices.
  • Bolt Device: Deals 1200% Lightning damage to a random spot within range every 1-2 seconds. (All enemies within 2 meters of random spot will affected)
  • Frost Device: Slows down enemies by 30-50% and deals reduces enemy HP by 10% every 2 seconds.
There are 3 kinds of Hunters that can be used:
  • Only 1 kind of Hunter can be used in a stage.
  • Defense: Deals less damage but less likely to die.
  • Overclock: Deals more damage but more likely to die.
  • Assistance: Picks off enemies from a distance, balanced performance.
There are 7 kinds of Hunter Enhancements:
  • Only 3 Hunter Enhancements can be used in a stage.
  • Amplification Core: Hunter deals more damage.
  • Energy Core: Hunter has more HP.
  • Amplification Field: Hunter buffs attack of allies within 6 meters.
  • Protection Field: Hunter buffs resistance of allies within 6 meters.
  • Maintenance: Hunter restores HP after dealing damage.
  • Molten Core: Hunter has a chance to ignite the enemy, dealing Fire damage over time.
  • Freezing Core: Hunter has a chance to freeze the enemy, stopping them from moving for a short period of time.

All "Remnant Record" used to unlock or upgrade Devices/Hunter Enhancements can be reclaimed by selecting "Reset".

Additional Information

30 "Remnant Record" is generated every 10 minutes.

  • A maximum of 1800 "Remnant Record" can be generated at a time, so be sure to claim "Remnant Record" every 10 hours. ((1800/30) * 10 = 600 minutes = 10 hours)
  • 750 "Remnant Record" is used to unlock a Device, 1250 is used to raise it to Rank 2 and 1750 is used to raise it to Rank 3.
  • 600 "Remnant Record" is used to unlock a Hunter Enhancement, 800 is used to raise it to Rank 2 and 1100 is used to raise it to Rank 3.
  • Only 35500 "Remnant Record" is needed to fully max out everything, which would take ~197.2 hours or ~8.2 days of passive collection.
  • However, only (2 * (750 + 1250 + 1750)) + (3 * (600 + 800 + 1100)) = 15000 "Remnant Record" is needed for a fully upgraded build, since all resources can be reclaimed by resetting. This would take ~83.3 hours or ~3.47 days of passive collection.
  • Do note that a substantial amount of "Remnant Record" can also be claimed from clearing stages.

Preparatory Advice

Configure different Devices and Hunter Enhancements for different stages!

  • It is recommended to use Liv: Empyrea as she has Lag Calculation which can pause the timer, can pull in enemies, can deal burst damage, can stop enemy progress and movement during her ultimate and has great range as well as heal herself constantly.
  • An alternative would be to use No.21: XXI as she can also pull in enemies and heal herself.
  • Do remember to equip CUBs for improved performance.
  • It is generally recommended to equip "Trap Master" as the Talent as the bulk of the damage dealt to enemies will come from Devices.
  • Stages usually consists of either:
    • Stopping an enemy from reaching a certain zone with multiple waves of enemies coming from different paths and directions.
      • A combination of Bolt Device and Frost Device can be used in the same area to slow down the enemy while striking them with lightning damage for stages that require stopping the enemy from reaching an area.
      • Alternatively, Dark Device can also be used with No.21: XXI as she makes enemies more vulnerable to dark damage.
      • Hunter Enhancements like Amplification Core and Molten Core and Freezing Core can be used for maximum Hunter Damage.
    • Defeating all enemies in an area or a single boss (usually the 3rd stage).
      • A combination of Scorch Device and Supply Device can be used in the same area to buff and heal your Construct during boss fights.
      • Hunter Enhancements like Amplification Field, Protection Field and Freezing Core can be used to buff your Construct during boss fights.

Combat Advice

Use the Hunter to hold back and distract enemies by deploying them in the area!

  • At the start of every combat phase, summon the Hunter at the desired location.
  • Do note that Hunters do NOT spawn by their own and have to be summoned to "patrol" a certain area by the player, the Hunters WILL NOT follow around the player.
  • Time continues to pass even during the preparation phase, so immediately set up or upgrade your Devices and continue on to the combat phase so no time is wasted.
  • For each combat phase, enemies will only spawn in groups ONCE for every entrance into the area, try to gauge which enemy route needs more attention at the start of each combat phase by looking into the distance.
  • A maximum of 4 enemies is usually allowed to bypass the player for each stage.
  • As there are no additional rewards for perfect completion, it can be safe to ignore enemy waves coming in that are small in number and focus on larger groups of enemies instead.
  • When setting up Devices, quantity is usually more important than quality, focus on covering more tactical points before upgrading Devices.
  • At the start of each stage, the player can see all possible enemy paths, find the tactical points that intersect with as many of these paths as possible so that Devices deployed there can act as a chokehold on the enemies progress.
  • Never waste tactical points given during the preparation phase, always spend them all deploying new Devices or upgrading them.
