New Mode: Cursed Waves
A series of new stages with multiple branching story paths. Clear stages to obtain [Downfall Crystals] to unlock milestone rewards including: Event Construct R&D Tickets, Trade Vouchers, and other upgrade materials. This mode is updated every patch with new stages, story endings, characters, and rewards.
MISCELLANEOUS CHANGES
The [Battle Screen] interface has been added. From here, you can check your progress in the Story Mode, the completion status for War Zone, Phantom Pain Cage, and Norman Revival Plan, and directly access various Event Stages.
The Story Mode interface has been revamped. Story chapters are now divided into the Main Story and Side Stories. Side Stories include: EX Chapters, ER Chapters, Interludes, and Seasonal Event Stories.
The [Study] section has been added to the [Battle] interface. Celica’s tutorials, trial stages, as well as the newly added F.O.S. Assessment Board mode can be found here.
The [Resources] section has been added to the [Battle] interface. Inver-Shard farming stages and various upgrade material farming stages can be found here.
The [Challenges] section has been revamped and added to the [Battle] interface. The [Challenges] section is now divided into 3 categories:
Shimmer is an offensive CUB capable of pulling in enemies before unleashing a laser cannon to deal massive DMG. When paired with Bianca: Stigmata, Shimmer would significantly increase Stigmata's CRIT DMG and Base DMG of Sword Dance, and provide support by casting basic Active Skill when Stigmata unleashes an upward thrust attack.

During the event, you may access the event page via [Main Lobby] - [Dreamcatcher] event entrance. In the event, you may redeem event token [Woven Dream's Aurora] with Black Cards or Rainbow Cards, and consume Woven Dream's Aurora to draw for various rewards. The SFX coating Dreamcatcher for Liv: Empyrea is guaranteed within 10 pulls.
1. Each research consumes event token [Woven Dream's Aurora]. The number of Woven Dream's Aurora required increases as you progress from the first to tenth research, which is listed as follows:

3. All rewards are limited, you will not obtain rewards repeatedly.

Despite all the previous efforts and struggles made to contain the Red Tide, the gruesome, destructively unstoppable liquid, is still making its way toward the ocean. Victims fell one after another, thinking they could gain a new life in the Red Tide. To prevent the situation from further escalating, the Purifying Force entrusted Chiko as the leader of an investigation team onto a recon mission on Earth.
But things go down very quickly. The team soon lost contact following the report of a set of coordinates. To find out the truth and put an end to the incident, Bianca, captain of the Purifying Force, ventures into the Copperfield, an underwater aquarium that has been abandoned for years. What could have happened to silence a Purifying Force elite? Could they stop the Red Tide in time?
Abyssal Voyage has 5 sessions, each session has a different opening time and comes with 2 stages that drop event tokens [Crystal Seashell] and Memories. You may clear the stages repeatedly to obtain stage EXP that can upgrade the Authority Level (Authority Level: grants stats bonuses that only apply to Abyssal Voyage stages).
Requirement: Join the Command Bureau to participate.
Guild Expedition is an event requiring all Command Bureau members to work together to push forward and defeat overwhelming enemies. The event consists of three rounds, each lasting 2 weeks, and is featured with a map of multiple nodes. Defeat the enemies to capture nodes and move on, and eventually destroy the Dangerous Cliff to earn your victory.
The event has three levels of difficulty. Higher difficulty grants more abundant rewards but also requires the participation of more commandants.
Finish event missions and challenges to obtain event tokens [Expedition Loot II], and redeem various rewards including Trade Vouchers, 6★ Weapon Resonance Shards, and Basic Construct R&D Tickets in the [Voyage Shop II].
Special Note:
1. [Voyage Shop I] and [Voyage Shop II] will both be available during 2023/9/26 (after maintenance) – 2023/11/9, 01:59 (UTC). Event tokens [Expedition Loot I] and [Expedition Loot II] can only be consumed in their respective event shop. Voyage Shops of the past events will no longer return after this session of Guild Expedition.
2. During the event, the Command Bureau Lobby will be changed to [Summer Azure] for a limited time. The original Command Bureau Lobby will return when the event ends.
Reborn Resolve is the new trial stage of Bianca: Stigmata to help familiarize yourself with the new character. Learn the basic maneuvers and mechanics of Stigmata in the tutorial stage [Night of Cinders], and fight through the challenge stage [Dawn of Souls] to deepen your mastery of her skills. Clearing challenge stage will also reward you with basic training and enhancing materials, Trade Vouchers, as well as the limited collectible [Fluorescent Coral].
Slumberland is the Bonus Story game mode revealing the story behind the new SFX coating Dreamcatcher for Liv: Empyrea. Featured with two story stages and one battle stage, the event will tell you how Dreamcatcher is created, and give you a showcase of the coating's in-game performance.
Finish the coating trial stage to obtain Black Cards and other rewards.
Exodus Memoria is the new Boss challenge mode featured with the latest Boss Lithos. The game mode has five stages of progressive difficulties. As the difficulty increases, the Boss will become more powerful and gain access to extra skills.
Complete event missions to obtain various rewards including Event Construct R&D Tickets, Trade Vouchers, basic training and enhancing materials, as well as a limited collectible [Lithos' Data Sample].
During the event, you may enter the event page daily to receive a postcard gifted by a different faction. Each postcard is attached with a free research attempt. You may obtain up to 14 free research attempts during the event.
The 14 free research attempts include 3 [Themed Event Construct/Fate Themed Construct] attempts, 3 [Arrival Construct/Fate Arrival Construct] attempts, 4 [Target Weapon Research] attempts, and 4 [Member Target] attempts.
Each free research attempt obtained will expire at 07:00 (UTC) each day, please consume the attempts before expiry.
8. Cursed Waves

Cursed Waves is a brand-new roguelite game mode featuring countless combinations of character bonds and buffs. Form your Survey Team and venture into a world of cursed waves for various opportunities, and eventually reach one of the 3 endings of the story.
Complete event missions to obtain item [Downfall Crystal]. Accumulate certain number of Downfall Crystals to unlock milestone rewards including Event Construct R&D Tickets, Trade Vouchers, CUB training materials, basic training and enhancing materials.
Babel Tower is a challenging game mode with 3 stages, each containing 3 teams and 5 levels of difficulty for you to choose from. Each stage has a separate environmental affix and a series of strategic targets. Freely select the affixes to customize how challenging the stage is.
Challenge the stages to increase your Strategic Level. Reaching certain Strategic Levels may unlock event rewards including Black Cards, Trade Vouchers, basic training and enhancing materials, as well as a limited collectible [Babel Tower: Triumphant Tide].
Babel Tower - Theme Park will also be rerunning during the event period.
A ranking based on your total Strategic Level will also be available for those who would like to compete with fellow commandants. (No extra reward)
Midsummer Memento is a multiplayer leisure game mode in which you either cooperate or compete with 2 fellow commandants to achieve stylish photos. In each game session, a Kuroro camera would be hidden in the area. You need to find the camera in time and try to be as stylish as possible by using your character skills when the photo is taken.
When Cooperation mode is on, commandants only need to concentrate on the stylishness of photo taking. While the Cooperation mode is off, commandants would be able to attack each other to cause disruption. Scores will be given according to your stylishness and position in the photo. Act quick and watch out for your fellow commandants.
Finish event missions to obtain rewards including Event R&D Tickets, Trade Vouchers, basic training and enhancing materials, and a limited collectible [Summer Memory].
Introducing F.O.S. Rating Committee, a series of refined tutorials integrated into multiple challenge stages. Finish the courses to obtain [Achievement Points], and eventually pass all exams to become the brightest F.O.S. Star.
The stages are categorized into two types — General Course and Battle License. In General Course, a total of 6 courses, each featured with a specific battle element, will be unlocked as you reach certain commandant levels. Pass these 6 courses to quickly get the hang of combat and obtain rewards including Basic Construct R&D Tickets, A-Rank Omniframe Choice Packs, 5★ Weapon Choice Pack, and 6★ Memory Resonance Material Picks.
Passing General Course will grant you [Achievement Points], and reaching certain number of Achievement Points will give you access to 4 Battle License stages, which are the true exams with strict battle conditions. Pass the exams to obtain Basic Construct R&D Tickets, 6★ Memories, 6★ Memory Resonance Material Picks, and limited nameplates.
A new series of novice missions are now available for novice commandants. Dozens of missions will be unlocked over 7 days. Finish the missions to obtain abundant rewards including Basic Construct R&D Tickets * 4590, S-Rank Omniframe Choice Pack * 1, 6★ Weapon Choice Pack * 1, Da Vinci 4-Piece Set * 1, Guinevere 2-Pieve Set * 1, as well as basic training and enhancing materials.
A new 7-day login event is now open to novice commandants. Login for a total of 7 days to obtain rewards including Basic Construct R&D Tickets * 500, Inver-Shard - Lotus * 10, Inver-Shard - Eclipse *20, Inver-Shard - Storm * 20, Cog Pack (XXL) * 4.
Leap system is unlocked for Rosetta: Rigor. You may now significantly enhance Rigor's capability by unlocking and upgrading Leap skills. Reaching certain Leap skill levels will grant new skill effects and performances.

1. Added Recommended Equipment feature. You may now set the recommended build of a certain character as your Goal in the character's profile page, and follow instructions to quickly obtain the target equipment.

3. Optimized battle experience under Matrix effect. Enemies will no longer be able to deal normal damage to your characters when affected by the Matrix effect. (Partial special damage may still take effect).

2. Novice Commandant Experience Optimization

3. Adjusted access requirement of Promote feature of Constructs. You can now access the Promote feature after finishing Normal Story 1-4 stage instead of Normal Story 1-8 stage.
4. Adjusted access requirements of the first stages of [Resources] - [BP Train]. You can now access said stages after finishing Normal Story 2-2 stage, while the remaining stages will open as certain commandant levels are reached. Note that the [Combat Unit Booster Add-on] stages have different access requirements.

3. Character Optimization
1. Fixed the issue where Liv: Luminance may not be able to trigger teammates' QTEs after a 3-ping closely following her signature move.
2. Fixed the issue where the time windows for pinging Signal Orbs are too short when Liv: Empyrea enters Divine Prayer under certain situations
3. Fixed the issue where unleashing Liv: Empyrea's Signature Move may cause a Black Screen under certain situations.
4. UI Optimization
