Blue Orb

Infernal Scorchmark — Ping Blue Orb

Releases a close-range shockwave forward that deals Physical Damage (Dark DMG instead on a 3-Ping) and marks the first target hit. The marked target will deal Dark DMG to all enemies including itself and heal all ally units per second in an area. Only 1 mark can exist at a time.

Signature

Dark Field

Signature Move — 100 Energy + Tap Signature
Creates a dark field, dealing Dark DMG to nearby enemies. The dark field also deals Dark DMG every second and heals the ally units within. Ally units inside the dark field also gain the Dark Radiation effect and bonus movement speed. The dark field always moves with the character.

- The dark field deals 80% Dark DMG and heals the ally units within for HP equal to 16% of Vera: Rozen's ATK every second.

Black Rose Impact

Upon entering the battlefield, deals Dark DMG to nearby enemies and heals the ally units within range. Also grants them the Dark Radiation effect that increases their Dark DMG.

Technique
Gain overclock points when pinging orbs based on the number of orbs pinged. When you have enough overclock points, tap and hold the basic attack button to unleash Vera's core attack. Tapping basic attack during so will unleash her follow-up core attacks. Core attack deals area Dark DMG and deals Physical DMG to nearby targets. Overclock points are used for core attacks, and will be converted to Energy afterwards.

Level 9: After Vera: Rozen exits the battlefield, she will perform a core attack on a random enemy within Dark Field or Midnight Forcefield every 1.5s.
Level 18: While Dark Field or Midnight Forcefield is active, hitting an enemy marked by [Infernal Scorchmark] with the core attack or Midnight Slash triggers an explosion by consuming the mark, dealing DMG and healing allies. The DMG and healing amount are equal to the maximum effect of [Infernal Scorchmark]. Afterwards, [Infernal Scorchmark] spreads to a random enemy within range.

Heteroclite Simulacrum

While Vera: Rozen is in Midnight Form, she can perform the core attack at any time. Upon performing the core attack, all Signal Orbs will be converted to Midnight Orbs. Pinging a Midnight Orb triggers Midnight Slash that deals 600% Dark DMG. Midnight Slash is able to evade incoming attacks, and entering the Matrix grants 2 Midnight Orbs. After exiting the core attack, Midnight Orbs will be transformed back into regular Signal Orbs.

Level 9: Consecutively triggering Midnight Slash increases its Base DMG by 0% / 25% / 50% / 75% each time.
Level 18: While in Midnight Form, Base DMG of [Nightsplitter] increases by 50% for every Signal Orb or Midnight Orb pinged (up to 200%).
Midnight Horizon

Midnight Horizon

If Vera: Rozen activates her Signature Move with maximum overclock points, she will enter Midnight Form by consuming all overclock points and deal 480% Dark DMG to surrounding enemies. In addition, she will generate Midnight Forcefield, which deals 120% Dark DMG every 1s. Midnight Forcefield lasts for 6s. While in Midnight Form, Vera: Rozen cannot gain Energy or overclock points. Using up all available core attack or Midnight Slashes while in Midnight Form triggers [Nightsplitter], dealing 800% Dark DMG and exiting Midnight Form.

Level 9: Vera: Rozen gains 80 Energy and 1 Signal Orb of a random color every time she enters the battlefield. Upon using [Nightsplitter], remaining Midnight Orbs will be transformed into Blue Signal Orbs (up to 3).
Level 18: Using [Nightsplitter] immediately generates Dark Field.

How to play

Rozen - Fundamentals
  • Build up Overclock Points by pinging signal orbs and/or letting them slowly regenerate on their own over time
    • Overclock Points are represented by the red on-screen gauge
    • Overclock Point regeneration occurs even while Rozen is off-field
  • With at least 1 gauge unit's worth of Overclock Points, hold Basic Attack to initiate the first attack of Mass Illusion (Core Passive), then immediately start tapping Basic Attack to consume additional gauge units and perform follow-up Mass Illusion attacks
    • Mass Illusion is the most damaging part of Rozen's kit, hits enemies in a sizable area, and also generates the most Energy towards casting her Signature Move
  • Cast Signature Move to create a Dark Field in which Rozen and allies receive healing, increased movement speed, and a Dark DMG buff
  • Mark one enemy with a Blue Orb Ping to create a small area around that enemy in which Rozen and allies will receive healing for 5 seconds
Rozen - Additional Information
  • After being swapped on-field, Rozen will often be at or near maximum Overclock Points due to her off-field Overclock Point regeneration and the free Red Orb 3-Ping performed on swap-in, meaning she can immediately cast a full Mass Illusion attack string
  • 3-Pings will grant more Overclock Points per orb than 1 or 2-Pings
  • Both the Blue Orb Ping mark and Signature Move Dark Field persist if Rozen is swapped off-field, meaning their effects can be transferred to other allies in the team
  • Only one Blue Orb Ping mark can exist at any given time, and creating a new mark will first remove any existing marks before the new one is applied
  • The Dark DMG buff (Dark Radiation) granted by both Rozen's QTE and Signature Move Dark Field share the same name, and therefore do not stack with each other
