Physical Teams

Competitive (High Investment)

This composition serves to show the investment recommended to compete at higher levels. Investment recommendations will not be available to the majority of players. Players should use Competitive (Budget) as a guide for a more accessible team.
Blue

Luminance

Starter. Recommended investment: Leap, SSS-Rank
Luminance's optimal team slot is Blue for optimal synergy with her team, as Stigmata can rearrange and effectively manage her orbs with Matrix.
Luminance acts as the starter of this team to provide an immediate CRIT rate buff with her Signature Move. Luminance should swap to Stigmata after performing her Signature Move and building up her CRIT rate buff.
Luminance's Leap is required for her to be an effective Physical Support. SSS-Rank is unnecessary, but sees use in Phantom Pain Cage to allow quick usage of her Signature Move to set up a high CRIT rate buff as quickly as possible. Signature Weapon is a waste of resources unless players plan on giving Luminance Weapon Resonances. If so, players should obtain Type Zero instead of Dragon Wind, as Dragon Wind is sub-optimal despite being her Signature Weapon.
Red
Leader

Stigmata

Leader. Recommended investment: SS3-Rank, Signature Weapon
As Stigmata's QTE brings nothing to the team beyond off-field damage and other slots are better used by other members, she takes the remaining position in the team.
Stigmata’s SS-Rank drastically increases her Signature Move's damage. SS3-Rank provides significant Energy gain, which can considerably increase DPS if utilized properly. SS3-Rank will also see a further increase in value with the release of Alisa: Echo. Signature Weapon is very strongly recommended to quickly gain consistently high amounts of Stigmata Will stacks to maximize her Signature Move’s damage.
Yellow

Rigor

Recommended investment: Leap, SSS-Rank, Signature Weapon
Placement in Yellow allows for optimal synergy with Stigmata, while QTE triggers can be guaranteed through both Yellow 3-Pings and Luminance’s use of 4 set Da Vinci.
Rigor's Leap should be considered a minimum investment for this team as it increases her DPS by a significant amount. Rigor should be at least SS-Rank in this composition, as the ability to reapply her Defense reduction debuff from off-field can greatly improve the team's potential output. SSS-Rank can potentially be obtained for free through the Tactical Assessment Manual (Battle Pass). If accessible, it is highly recommended for the increase to her Defense reduction debuffs. Signature Weapon serves as another increase to Rigor's maximum Defense reduction and allows for Weapon Resonances.

Competitive (Budget)

This composition acts as a more budget friendly version of the Competitive team composition, offering guidelines for where to begin further investment while remaining generally accessible to F2P/players on a budget. Investment recommendations should be taken solely as such. Players should invest based on what they can reasonably afford before strictly considering what is recommended here.
Blue

Luminance

Starter. Recommended investment: Leap
Luminance's optimal team slot is Blue for optimal synergy with her team, as Stigmata can rearrange and effectively manage her orbs with Matrix.
Luminance acts as the starter of this team to set up for future rotations with the Level 18 effects of her Signature Move’s Leap. Luminance should swap to Stigmata as soon as possible.
Luminance's Leap is required for her to be an effective Physical Support. If players plan on obtaining a Signature Weapon for Luminance, they should obtain Type Zero instead of Dragon Wind, as Dragon Wind is sub-optimal despite being her Signature Weapon.
Red
Leader

Stigmata

Leader. Recommended investment: SS-Rank
As Stigmata's QTE brings nothing to the team beyond off-field damage and other slots are better used by other members, she takes the remaining position in the team.
Stigmata's SS-Rank drastically improves her Signature Move's potential damage.
Yellow

Rigor

Recommended investment: Leap, SS-Rank
Placement in Yellow allows for optimal synergy with Stigmata, while QTE triggers can be guaranteed through both Yellow 3-Pings and Luminance’s use of 4 set Da Vinci.
Rigor's Leap should be considered a minimum investment for this team as it increases her DPS by a significant amount. SS-Rank is a drastic improvement to Rigor's supportive capabilities, allowing her to apply her Defense Reduction debuffs with her QTE. SS-Rank can potentially be obtained for free through the Tactical Assessment Manual (Battle Pass).

1st Gen (Crimson Abyss)

This team composition acts solely to show examples of older Constructs that may be used to fill in empty slots of players' teams. This team is no longer optimal and will see minimal use. This does not mean Constructs shown here that do not appear in stronger teams are useless, only that they are not the most effective option available.
Blue

Luminance

Starter.
Luminance should avoid being set anywhere but Blue as both Crimson Abyss and Rigor rely heavily on their Blue Pings. Crimson Abyss requires a Blue 3-Ping to activate her Core Passive, while Rigor benefits greatly from using her Blue Pings to reduce enemy Defense to increase her personal damage output.
Luminance acts as the starter of this team to set up for future rotations with the Level 18 effects of her Signature Move’s Leap. Luminance should swap to Crimson Abyss as soon as possible.
Luminance's Leap is required for her to be an effective Physical Support. If players plan on obtaining a Signature Weapon for Luminance, they should obtain Type Zero instead of Dragon Wind, as Dragon Wind is sub-optimal despite being her Signature Weapon.
Red

Rigor

Due to Crimson Abyss' SS-Rank passive, Rosetta should be set in Red. With her SS-Rank passive, Crimson Abyss' Red orb 3-Ping becomes a stronger option than her Yellow orb 3-Pings to activate her Core Passive.
Rigor's Leap should be considered a minimum investment for this team as it increases her DPS by a significant amount.
Yellow
Leader

Crimson Abyss

Leader.
With her SS-Rank passive, Crimson Abyss' Red orb 3-Pings are stronger than her Yellow orb 3-Pings when activating her Core Passive. As such, Red orbs will be more frequently used than Yellow, making Yellow the optimal placement for Crimson Abyss.

1st Gen (Entropy)

This team composition acts solely to show examples of older Constructs that may be used to fill in empty slots of players' teams. This team is no longer optimal and will see minimal use. This does not mean Constructs shown here that do not appear in stronger teams are useless, only that they are not the most effective option available.
Blue

Luminance

Starter.
Luminance is best placed in Blue due to the frequent usage of Blue Pings by Entropy and Rigor.
Luminance acts as the starter of this team to set up for future rotations with the Level 18 effects of her Signature Move’s Leap. Luminance should swap to Entropy as soon as possible.
Luminance's Leap is required for her to be an effective Physical Support. If players plan on obtaining a Signature Weapon for Luminance, they should obtain Type Zero instead of Dragon Wind, as Dragon Wind is sub-optimal despite being her Signature Weapon.
Red
Leader

Entropy

Leader.
Entropy should avoid any team slot other than Red as he requires Yellow and Blue 3-Pings to activate his Core Passive. Red 3-Pings are rarely used as Entropy's Red Ping sees more use activating his Core Passive.
Yellow

Rigor

Rigor's optimal placement in this composition is Yellow as her Leap gives her QTE the ability to gather enemies. As Entropy's Blue Ping shares the same effects, Rigor is best set in Yellow to avoid redundancy and make best use of her QTE's effects while providing optimal support.
Rigor's Leap should be considered a minimum investment for this team as it increases her DPS by a significant amount.

Beginner Friendly/F2P Options

This composition exists solely for new players who need a coverage team/general idea on where to start their team. Recommendations on investment will only be given if a Construct can fill a specific niche. Players with more experience/access to more Constructs should use this composition as nothing more than a guideline on how to fill empty slots they may have in their teams.
Blue

Eclipse

Despite her placement here, Eclipse does not provide much benefit to a Physical Team's performance until SSS-Rank. Eclipse is a fairly decent Physical Support once at that point of investment, but this may not be an investment every player is willing to make as the cost outweighs the benefits. However, Eclipse is currently the only option available if players do not have access to Liv: Luminance, who greatly outclasses Eclipse with the right investment.
Red

Blast

Leader.
Blast may serve as a temporary Attacker until a stronger option is available to players. Bianca: Zero is potentially stronger than Blast, but is not listed as her use cases are more limited due to her lack of AoE.
Yellow

Storm

Starter.
It is not recommended to invest in Storm, as Across the Ruined Sea introduces beginner missions that reward players with a S-Rank selector containing all S-Rank Constructs up to Luna: Laurel. Players are strongly recommended to pick Rosetta: Rigor from the selector as there are no budget options for this role that come close to competing with Rigor's debuffs.
Ayla: Brilliance and Kamui: Bastion may also be used as budget alternatives for Physical Tanks. While both provide lower Defense reduction than Storm, they bring the benefit of being able to apply their debuffs from off-field, which may be more useful in many compositions.

Fire Teams

Competitive (High Investment)

This composition serves to show the investment required to compete at higher levels. Investment recommendations will not be available to the majority of players. Players should use Competitive (Budget) as a guide for a more accessible team.
Blue

Empyrea

Recommended investment: SS-Rank, Signature Weapon
Empyrea fills in Blue to allow for uninterrupted rotations.
SS-Rank should be considered the minimum investment for Empyrea as it significantly improves her gameplay, potential damage, and buffs. Her Signature Weapon greatly improves her gameplay and allows use of Weapon Resonances, which can make a great difference in both her and the team's performance.
Red
Leader

Hyperreal

Leader. Recommended investment: SS3-Rank, Signature Weapon
Hyperreal should avoid being placed in Blue due to Starfarer's frequent usage of Blue Pings. Activation of Hyperreal's QTE through use of Blue 3-Pings can cause a significant loss of time.
Hyperreal's Signature Weapon is highly recommended as it significantly improves his gameplay and potential damage. SS-Rank serves as a very strong overall boost to Hyperreal, while SS3-Rank solves potential Energy issues and indirectly improves damage output by allowing Hyperreal to switch his 2 set Memories, as he no longer requires 2 set Cottie
Yellow

Starfarer

Starter. Recommended investment: SS-Rank, Signature Weapon
Frequent use of Yellow Pings allow for consistent triggers of Starfarer's QTE.
Starfarer acts as the starter of this team to use Blue Pings to immediately set up Fire Resistance reduction for Hyperreal while setting up the Amplifier Class passive. Starfarer should swap to Hyperreal as soon as possible, or immediately after using a Blue Ping.
Starfarer's Signature Weapon significantly improves her gameplay and provides synergy with her SS-Rank passive. SS-Rank allows for persistent application of Starfarer's Fire Resistance reduction debuff from off-field when used in tandem with her Signature Weapon, and provides consistent application of this debuff while on-field. Starfarer may occasionally use her Pain Cage build [1] in this composition for War Zone. This relies on Starfarer having both her SS-Rank and Signature Weapon as she cannot use 4 set Da Vinci without drawbacks otherwise.

Competitive (Budget)

This composition acts as a more budget friendly version of the Competitive team composition, offering guidelines for where to begin further investment while remaining generally accessible to F2P/players on a budget. Investment recommendations should be taken solely as such. Recommendations are not requirements for this composition to function, though they may greatly improve it.
Blue

Hyperreal

Leader. Recommended investment: Signature Weapon
As Hyperreal rarely uses Blue 3-Pings, his optimal slot in this composition is on Blue.
If Starfarer has her Signature Weapon and Hyperreal is S5-Rank or higher, Hyperreal should swap placements with Empyrea.
Hyperreal's Signature Weapon greatly improves his gameplay and damage potential, making it a strong recommendation for players who can afford it.
Red

Empyrea

Recommended Investment: SS-Rank
Frequent use of Red Pings allow for consistent triggers of Empyrea's QTE. If Starfarer has her Signature Weapon and Hyperreal is S5-Rank or higher, Hyperreal should swap placements with Empyrea.
Empyrea's SS-Rank is strongly recommended as it significantly improves her gameplay and increases her buffing potential.
Yellow

Starfarer

Starter. Recommended Investment: Signature Weapon
Frequent use of Yellow Pings allow for consistent triggers of Starfarer's QTE.
Starfarer acts as the starter of this team to set up the Amplifier Class passive. If Starfarer is using her Signature Weapon, she can also use a Blue Ping to set up Fire Resistance reduction for Hyperreal. Starfarer should swap to Hyperreal immediately, or after using her Blue Ping if using her Signature Weapon.
Starfarer's Signature Weapon greatly improves her gameplay and provides synergy with her SS-Rank passive, if ever obtained.

1st Gen

This team composition acts solely to show examples of older Constructs that may be used to fill in empty slots of players' teams. This team is no longer optimal and will see minimal use. This does not mean Constructs shown here that do not appear in stronger teams are useless, only that they are not the most effective option available.
Blue

Pulse

Pulse should take the Blue slot in the team to allow Ember to semi-consistently trigger her QTE while offering the best synergy with Silverfang. If Pulse is used as a substitute Fire Tank while in a team with Liv: Empyrea, she should use her Main Build [2]. In this composition, Pulse uses her Pain Cage build [3] to effectively sub-DPS for Ember.
Red
Leader

Ember

Leader.
Despite Red being one of Ember's stronger options, controlling timings for QTEs becomes inconsistent due to her Red Ping's fast animation. This can lead to a portion of the Ping being unbuffed, leading to suboptimal damage output.
Yellow

Silverfang

Starter.
Silverfang takes Yellow as it provides consistent QTE and Da Vinci triggers as Yellow Pings are Ember's highest source of DPS, and will be used frequently. Ember's Yellow Ping animation is delayed enough that players can trigger Silverfang's QTE and activate Da Vinci in time for the Yellow Ping to damage enemies while being buffed, leading to Yellow being the most consistent slot when it comes to allowing Silverfang to support her team.
Silverfang acts as the starter of this team to allow Ember to use her switch-in skill. Silverfang should swap to Ember immediately.

Blue
Leader

Palefire

Leader.
Palefire may serve as a temporary Attacker until a stronger option is available to players. At SSS-Rank with his Leap, Palefire can outclass Karenina: Ember as a Fire Attacker. However, Lee: Hyperreal heavily outclasses both and is much more cost efficient.
Red

Silverfang

Starter.
Silverfang is a relatively weak Fire Support that does not see usage in competitive content. Replacing her with Liv: Empyrea is highly recommended to do as soon as possible.
Yellow

Brilliance

Brilliance may serve as a budget Elemental Tank for players without access to stronger Constructs. In this composition, she must be using 4 set Shakespeare and 2 set Gloria to reduce Fire Resistance.

Ice Teams

Competitive (High Investment)

This composition serves to show the investment recommended to compete at higher levels. Investment recommendations will not be available to the majority of players. Players should use Competitive (Budget) as a guide for a more accessible team.
Blue

Plume

Recommended investment: SS-Rank, Signature Weapon
Plume should be set in the Blue slot due to a general lack of reliance on her Blue Pings, as her Red and Yellow 3-Pings are simply stronger options while in Arctic Form. Plume's Signature Weapon's value lies primarily in opening up the usage of Weapon Resonances, as Deadline Timing can significantly improve Plume's gameplay and damage. While not a significant increase, Plume's SS-Rank should be considered the competitive "minimum".
Red

Hypnos

Starter. Recommended investment: SSS-Rank
Hypnos is best set in Red for consistent QTE triggers from Plume's frequent use of Red 3-Pings.
Hypnos acts as the starter of this team to close the gap with his Red Ping. Hypnos should swap to Plume as soon as he has closed the gap.
Hypnos' SSS-Rank is strongly recommended as it doubles his Ice Damage buff. SSS-Rank can be farmed through the respective Shard Farming mission.
Yellow

Glory

Recommended investment: SS-Rank, Signature Weapon
Glory takes the remaining slot in the team as his QTE can be triggered semi-consistently with Plume's Yellow 3-Pings and offers better synergy for Double QTE Triggers with Hypnos.
Glory's Signature Weapon is highly recommended as he cannot apply his innate Ice Resistance reduction debuffs from off-field without it. SS-Rank serves as a considerable increase to Glory's DPS. SS-Rank should not take priority over Signature Weapons for both him and Plume.

Blue
Leader

Plume

Leader. Recommended investment: Signature Weapon
Plume should be set in the Blue slot due to a general lack of reliance on her Blue Pings, as her Red and Yellow 3-Pings are simply stronger options while in Arctic Form.
Plume's Signature Weapon is unnecessary, but a higher priority than her SS-Rank if players wish to improve her without spending a significant amount.
Red

Hypnos

Yellow

Glory

Recommended investment: Signature Weapon
Glory takes the remaining slot in the team as his QTE can be triggered semi-consistently with Plume's Yellow 3-Pings and offers better synergy for Double QTE Triggers with Hypnos.
Glory's Signature Weapon is highly recommended as he cannot apply his innate Ice Resistance reduction debuffs from off-field without it.

Beginner Friendly/F2P Options

This composition exists solely for new players who need a coverage team/general idea on where to start their team. Recommendations on investment will only be given if a Construct can fill a specific niche. Players with more experience/access to more Constructs should use this composition as nothing more than a guideline on how to fill empty slots the may have in their teams.
Blue
Leader

Vitrum

Leader.
Vitrum may serve as a strong alternative to Lucia: Plume, though high investment is required. The cost of necessary investment can be bypassed through the respective Shard farming mission.
Red

Hypnos

Starter.
Hypnos is a reliable Support Construct who is still relevant in Competitive teams.
Yellow

Qilin

Qilin may serve as a temporary Tank for players’ Ice team. However, investment is highly discouraged as Qilin is a very sub-par unit overall who may be outperformed by Ayla: Brilliance’s Ice QTE Support [4] build. Qilin does not provide significant benefit without a higher Rank and Signature Weapon, neither of which are cost-efficient investments.

Lightning Teams

Competitive (High Investment)

This composition serves to show the investment recommended to compete at higher levels. Investment recommendations will not be available to the majority of players. Players should use Competitive (Budget) as a guide for a more accessible team.
Blue
Leader

Veritas

Leader. Recommended investment: SS-Rank, Signature Weapon
Veritas will rarely use Blue 3-Pings as her Core Passive only requires Pinging a Blue Orb, regardless of amount. As such, she should avoid being set anywhere but Blue.
While not a significant increase, SS-Rank should be considered the competitive "minimum ". Similarly, Veritas' Signature Weapon should be considered the minimum investment needed for higher levels of play despite not drastically improving her damage.
Red

Empyrea

Starter. Recommended investment: SSS-Rank, Signature Weapon
Selena: Capriccio may also be used here. The purpose of using an off-element Construct here is to make use of the Amplifier Class passive in conjunction with 2 Weapon Resonances, Glorious Spear and Superconducting Axial Ray.

Empyrea should be set on Red to allow consistent activation of her QTE as she should be using her Elemental QTE Support build [5] to best support the team.
Empyrea acts as the starter of this team to allow Garnet to use her switch-in skill to fulfill a portion of her Core Passive without spending orbs while allowing her to make use of the Amplifier Class passive. Empyrea should swap to Garnet immediately. Signature Weapon is required for this use case due to Weapon Resonances being a requirement. SSS-Rank is highly recommended for the increased Amplifier Class passive, allowing the Amplifier’s buffs to far outclass what any other option could provide.
Yellow

Garnet

Recommended investment: SS-Rank, Signature Weapon
As other slots are better used by other team members, Garnet should be set in Yellow. Garnet's QTE will primarily be triggered through 4 set Da Vinci, held by the Amplifier of the team.
Garnet's SS-Rank and Signature Weapon are both strongly recommended as they greatly improve Garnet's damage and gameplay. When paired, Garnet's Signature Move becomes significantly better as her Signature Weapon allows it to generate a stack of Electric Charge, while her SS-Rank passive allows her to use Lightning Fall immediately after her Signature Move, cutting down significantly on animation length.

Blue
Leader

Veritas

Leader. Recommended investment: Signature Weapon
Veritas will rarely use Blue 3-Pings as her Core Passive only requires Pinging a Blue Orb, regardless of amount. As such, she should avoid being set anywhere but Blue.
Veritas' Signature Weapon provides a decent increase to her damage. It should not take priority over investment into Garnet's weapon and rank.
Red

Lux

Starter. Recommended investment: SS-Rank
Lux set on Red to allow Veritas to consistently trigger Da Vinci's 4 set effects.
Lux acts as the starter of the team to allow Garnet to trigger a portion of her Core Passive without needing to spend any orbs. If available, Lux can use a Yellow 3-Ping to set up Garnet's QTE, then swap to Garnet to trigger the effects of her Signature Weapon. If a Yellow 3-Ping is not available or Garnet's Signature Weapon is unobtained, Lux should instead swap to Garnet immediately. SS-Rank is the minimum requirement for Lux to bring a significant benefit to her team, as her Lightning Damage buff is locked behind her SS-Rank passive.
Yellow

Garnet

Recommended investment: Signature Weapon
As other slots are better used by other teammates, Garnet should be set in Yellow. Garnet's QTE will primarily be triggered by Lux's 4 set Da Vinci, though players with SSS+ Rank Lux may be able to trigger Garnet's QTE semi-consistently with Lux's Yellow 3-Ping.
Garnet's Signature Weapon greatly improves her potential damage as it allows her to generate Electric Charge stacks from off-field when using her QTE and causes Garnet to use Lightning Fall on switch-in as long as her Victorious War Flag is set on-field.

Blue

Lux

Starter.
Lux is a Support who still sees use in lower investment Competitive teams. However, Lux does not provide a significant increase over any support Construct until SS-Rank as her Lightning Damage buff is locked behind her SS-Rank passive.
Red
Leader

Dawn

Leader.
Dawn may serve as a temporary Attacker until a stronger option is available to players. With her Leap and SSS+ Rank, Dawn may be able to compete with a low investment Bianca: Veritas. Investment is not recommended unless players have no other option.
Yellow

Arclight

Arclight may serve as an effective temporary Lightning Tank for players without access to a stronger option.

Dark Teams

Competitive (High Investment)

This composition serves to show the investment recommended to compete at higher levels. Investment recommendations will not be available to the majority of players. Players should use Competitive (Budget) as a guide for a more accessible team.
Blue

Scire

Recommended investment: SS3-Rank, Signature Weapon
Laurel's ability to activate any QTEs outside of their cooldown allows for consistent use of all QTEs. SS3-Rank and Signature Weapon are currently required for Scire to have the DPS required to take field time without resulting in a DPS loss. The Deadline Timing Weapon Resonance is a very important consideration for Scire to allow her to consistently trigger her SS3-Rank passive without relying on Matrix, which can be difficult to pull off without loss of time in many gamemodes.
Red
Leader

Laurel

Leader. Recommended investment: SS-Rank, Signature Weapon
As Laurel’s QTE brings nothing to the team beyond off-field damage and other slots are better used for other members, she takes the remaining position in the team.
When Laurel is SS-Rank or lower, using Signature Move on her first rotation will be difficult unless she is able to consistently make use of Matrix to gain a 5th Annihilation Orb. If Matrix is not triggered, players should swap to the next member instead of wasting time by using Laurel’s enhanced basic attacks.
Laurel's SS-Rank passive and Signature Weapon both serve as very considerable improvements to her damage.
Yellow

Capriccio

Starter. Recommended investment: SSS-Rank, Signature Weapon
Laurel's ability to activate any QTEs outside of their cooldown allows for consistent use of all QTEs.
Capriccio acts as the starter to activate the Amplifier Class Passive. Capriccio should swap to Scire immediately. SSS-Rank and Signature Weapon are currently required for Capriccio to have the DPS required to take field time without resulting in a DPS loss. Capriccio's Signature Weapon should be considered a necessity for this team as Capriccio's DPS is almost entirely reliant on her Signature Move being completed before the Amplifier Class passive runs out. Without her Signature Weapon, Capriccio cannot reliably gain Energy fast enough to perform her Signature Move every rotation.

Blue

Rozen

Starter. Recommended investment: SSS-Rank
Laurel's ability to activate any QTEs outside of their cooldown allows for consistent use of all QTEs. Scire's QTE should be activated before Rozen's as she can use Da Vinci's 4 set effect to reactivate it in order to refresh Scire's Dark Resistance reduction debuff and activate Da Vinci's maximum ATK buffs.
Rozen acts as the starter to allow Laurel to use her switch-in skill to fulfill a portion of her Core Passive. Rozen should swap to Laurel immediately. When Laurel is the team's Attacker, SSS-Rank Rozen will outclass Selena: Capriccio as the optimal Construct for buffs, unless Capriccio is also SSS-Rank or SS-Rank with Weapon Resonances. This only applies when using a team composition that does not encourage switching between members, as Capriccio outclasses Rozen in swap playstyles.
Red
Leader

Laurel

Leader. Recommended investment: SS-Rank
As Laurel can forcibly activate all QTEs with her Core Passive and does not provide any support with her own QTE, she takes the remaining position in the team.
Laurel's SS-Rank passive serves as a very considerable improvement to her damage.
Yellow

Scire

Recommended investment: Signature Weapon
Laurel's ability to activate any QTEs outside of their cooldown allows for consistent use of all QTEs. Scire’s QTE should always be activated before Rozen’s to maximize her Dark Resistance reduction debuff’s uptime.
At SS-Rank, Kamui: Tenebrion outclasses Scire in this team due to a potentially greater Dark Resistance reduction debuff, with Scire requiring her Signature Weapon to outclass Tenebrion's debuffs. If neither have the aforementioned levels of investment, Scire is the optimal pick. When using Tenebrion, refer to 1st Gen for optimal guidelines.
Scire’s Signature Weapon is strongly recommended as it greatly improves her supportive capabilities. In the few cases where Scire will need to switch-in to cover Laurel’s downtime, it also improves her damage potential by a considerable margin.

1st Gen

This team composition acts solely to show examples of older Constructs that may be used to fill in empty slots of players' teams. This team is no longer optimal and will see minimal use. This does not mean Constructs shown here that do not appear in stronger teams are useless, only that they are not the most effective option available.
Blue

Rozen

Starter.
Laurel's ability to activate any QTEs outside of their cooldown allows for consistent use of all QTEs. Tenebrion's QTE should be activated before Rozen's, as Rozen can use Da Vinci's 4 set effect to reactivate it in order to refresh Tenebrion's Dark Resistance reduction debuff and activate Da Vinci's maximum ATK buffs.
Rozen acts as the starter to allow Laurel to use her switch-in skill to fulfill a portion of her Core Passive. Rozen should swap to Laurel immediately. If Tenebrion is SS-Rank, Rozen should swap to him instead of Laurel to begin accumulating energy for his Signature Move.
Red
Leader

Laurel

Leader.
As Laurel can forcibly activate all QTEs with her Core Passive and does not provide any support with her own QTE, she takes the remaining position in the team.
Yellow

Tenebrion

Laurel's ability to activate any QTEs outside of their cooldown allows for consistent use of all QTEs. Tenebrion’s QTE should always be activated before Rozen’s to maximize his Dark Resistance reduction debuff’s uptime.

Blue

Rozen

Starter.
Rozen may still see usage in certain compositions. This only applies when using a team composition that does not encourage switching between members, as Capriccio outclasses Rozen in swap playstyles.
Red
Leader

Astral

Leader.
Astral may serve as a temporary Attacker until a stronger option is available to players. However, he is significantly weaker than all other available options, and as such is advised to be replaced as soon as possible. Astral's Leap may allow him to be equal to S-Rank Luna: Laurel but only if Astral is SSS+ Rank at minimum. If Laurel is any higher than S-Rank, she will outclass Astral.
Yellow

XXI

At SSS-Rank, XXI may be able to match or outclass Kamui: Tenebrion. If below SSS-Rank, XXI may serve as a temporary option until raised to a higher Rank, or until players have obtained a stronger option.
