1. Polymerization Collapse
Inflicts Smash effect upon dealing Physical damage. Smash: reduces the target's Physical resistance by 8% for 8s. Repeated triggering refreshes the duration.
2. Dead Line Timing
Gain 2 extra random signal orbs upon deployment, and 3 signal orbs of the same color every 45s (also gain signal orbs on standby).
3. Matrix Lightning
After EX Dodge (triggering Matrix), Movement Speed is greatly increased and all enemies' Extra DMG Reduction is decreased by 10% in Matrix.

Red Orb

Vortex Barrage

Unleashes a series of attack forward, dealing 200% / 400% / 600% Physical DMG based on the number of orbs pinged. After a 3-Ping, the next Basic Attack within 4s deals a total of 300% Physical DMG, knocking down nearby enemies. Additionally, increases the Max HP of POD: Shield by 3%.
Yellow Orb

Pursuit

Unleashes a series of attacks forward, dealing 200% / 400% / 600% Physical DMG according to ping count.
Blue Orb

A140: Gravity

Automatically uses a 3-Ping version of this attack upon switch-in.
Uses the POD to unleash Gravity, creating a gravitational field in front, dealing 150% / 300% / 450% Physical DMG based on the number of orbs pinged and pulls enemies within the field for 2 / 2.5 / 3s (Pull effect is weakened and does not deal damage outside of the field).
Basic Attack

Impale

Basic Attack: Unleashes a series of attacks forward, dealing a total of 760% Physical DMG. Each Basic Attack that strikes an enemy increases the Max HP of POD: Shield by 1%.
Core

Prototype

Core Passive: Any 3-Ping increases A2's POD: Shield by 5% Max HP (Stacks up to 30% max). Additionally, the POD will launch 6 seeker missiles at the enemy, dealing a total of 140% Physical DMG. Each missile that strikes the enemy increases POD: Shield by 3% Max HP. Missiles also Taunt the enemy for 5 seconds. While taunted, the target's DEF is reduced by 20% (if your team has 2B and 9S, the effect is doubled). While moving, hold the Dodge Button to cause A2 to slide for up to 2s and emit static to drag nearby enemies. After sliding for 1s, increases POD: Shield by 10% Max HP. The Dodge Gauge will not recover while sliding.
Signature

Berserk

Signature Move: Once POD: Shield is fully charged, unleash Berserk Mode to grant A2 60% Extra DMG Reduction, increased Move SPD, 30% Extra DMG Bonus, and Super Armor. During Berserk Mode, Basic Attacks gain increased speed, and pinging orbs emits static, dealing 150% Physical DMG. Berserk Mode will consume 4% Max HP per second (prioritizing POD: Shield if activated). Berserk Mode can be deactivated manually, or it will automatically deactivate once A2 has less than 60% Max HP. Once deactivated, Berserk Mode will have a 10s cooldown. If A2 leaves the field while Berserk Mode is active, POD: Shield will continue to diminish until fully depleted. While A2 is on standby, Berserk Mode will deactivate if POD: Shield is fully depleted.

Last Type A

Passive: Each time A2 enters the battlefield, increases POD: Shield by 50%. While Berserk Mode is active, the POD will launch a round of seeker missiles every 4s. Additionally, if 2B and 9S are on your team while leaving the battlefield with Berserk Mode active, Physical DMG from the next character to enter the battlefield will increase by 10% until A2's Berserk Mode is deactivated.
SSS-Rank

Rebel Android

Passive: Enemies within the gravitational field created by A140: Gravity have their Extra DMG Bonus lowered by 70%. Damage from POD seeker missiles is increased by 100%, and Taunt effect increases to 40%.
SSS+ Rank

Null Code

Passive: Automatic Berserk Mode deactivation threshold is lowered to 30% Max HP. Additionally, while A2 has Berserk Mode activated with POD: Shield, Max HP consumed by Signature Move - Berserk is reduced to 2.5% Max HP per second and Extra DMG Bonus is increased by 10%.

The way the NieR team is used depends on how much you've invested into each character.

Full Team Rotation

Either at high investment (all characters at SSS-Rank or above with 6★ weapons) or at low investment (all characters at S-Rank with 5★ weapons), this composition can be used. In this setup, each character will take turns swapping onto the field.
